(1) WHAT TIME CAN WE CHECK-IN AND WHEN DO WE NEED TO CHECK-OUT?

When you arrive on the first day of your reservation date, check in will be at 2:00pm CET (14:00) and when you are ready to leave on your last day of your stay you must check out by no later 11:00.
A later check-out (extended) time is available for an additional fee and provides you with the availability to check out at 1:00pm CET (13:00)

(2) HOW DO YOU GET TO KORČULA ISLAND?

Korčula island does not have a dedicated airport however, there are several different options to get to the Island. The two nearest airports are located in Split and Dubrovnik.


FROM SPLIT, CROATIA:

  1. CAR FERRY (SPLIT - VELA LUKA - LASTOVO):  If you are driving and would like to take a direct ferry from Split to Korčula island, the only option is to take the car ferry from Split to Vela Luka. Departing from Split in the morning, it is operated by the ferry company called "Jadrolinija". The average ferry time is approximately 3.5 hours. You can download the Jadrolinija app on your mobile device and pre-order your ticket(s) to board. Their schedule times are also available on their website (jadrolinija.hr).

  2. An alternative method is to drive to Orebić which is about 170km away and a drive of nearly 3.25 hours. Then you will be required to take a ferry (15 minutes) to Dominče, Korčula.

  3. CATAMARAN (SPLIT - VELA LUKA - LASTOVO):  Daily service, departing Split in the afternoon. If you are just a foot passenger, then this is a good option. It is a faster method and particularly suitable if you are staying in the western part of the island. This service is operated by Jadrolinija and all ticket orders and Scheduling information are available on their website.

  4. CATAMARAN (SPLIT - HVAR - KORČULA):  Daily service departing from Split in the afternoon and from April to October, there are some additional departures also available in the morning. If you are a foot passenger, this is a very good option if you are planning to stay on the eastern part of the island. Service is operated by Kapetan Luka. Schedules and bookings are available on their website. (krilo.hr)

  5. CATAMARAN (BRAČ, MAKARSKA, MLJET or LASTOVO):  From April to October there are daily services available, some are just a couple of times a week. This service is operated by Jadrolinija, Kapetan Luka and GV Line. Service is not available in the offseason.

FROM DUBROVNIK, CROATIA:

  1. CATAMARAN:  This service is available from April to October. It departs from Dubrovnik in the afternoon (16:00) and arrives in Korčula at (18:00) and can be booked at (krilo.aktiva-info.hr)

  2. BUS:  The bus stops in all the villages along the island and departs at least once a day. This service is operated by Arriva Bus Company and their schedule and booking are available on their website. (arriva.com.hr)

  3. CATAMARAN FERRY SERVICE:  This service is available from July to August and departs from Dubrovnik in the morning. This service is operated both Jadrolinija (jadrolinija.hr) and by GV Line. (GV-Line.hr)
